RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Reservation Policies
A 100% deposit plus taxes is required to book your reservation. Once the payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation letter that contains the details of your booking.
We suggest you take your time to read the information carefully and we also recommend you to contact us immediately to [email protected] if you have any question or if you need to make any change. The confirmation letter contains relevant information that we ask you to read to make sure that your stay is going to be concern free. We beg you to read carefully our cancellation policies described below. By confirming your reservation with your credit card, you agree to the terms and conditions of our cancellation policies.
In ArenaBlue Tulum we take cash (Mexican pesos, USD, and Euros) and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). We do not accept traveler’s checks. If you request it, you can transfer your balance by online banking before your arrival. If you want to know the details of our bank account and the instructions for the transfer, please contact us at [email protected] Money transfers can be done until one week before your arrival. Please confirm your payment by sending us a copy of your payment receipt via email.
During Christmas and New Year´s holiday (December 20nd until January 10th) we have a minimum stay policy of 6 nights, and for Easter, the minimum stay policy is four nights.
Kids under 16 years old are not allowed in the hotel. On the other hand, kids are welcome in our restaurant.
Pets are not allowed in Arena Blue Tulum.
We always suggest to our guests to get travel insurance. This insurance is usually not expensive, and it will save you any discomfort in case you have an issue on your holiday. Make sure that your travel insurance covers any flights cancellation situation. You should know as well if you are cover in case of an accident, illness, medical attention, or robbery.
The CHECK – IN time is at 15:00 and the CHECK – OUT time is at 12:00, nevertheless if your room is ready before 15:00, you can CHECK – IN when you arrive. If not, you can keep your luggage at the front desk and relax by the beach while you wait.
Cancellation Policies
By reserving with your credit card, you agree to the terms and conditions of our cancellation policies.
Cancellations made 60 days before your arrival will get a 90% refund from deposit or credit valid for one year since the cancellation date.
Any cancellation made within the 60 and 31 days window before the arrival will get a 30% refund from the deposit, and cancellations within 14 days before arrival will not get any refund.
All refunds are made through PayPal, and they´re attached to PayPal´s taxes. At the moment we don´t produce returns from money transferred by online banking.
We cannot make any refund in case of flights cancellation. That´s why we suggest you get travel insurance that protects you in case of flight cancellation.
Any change on your reservation must be done with no less than 30 days of anticipation of your arrival via email. Any change is subject to availability. In case there is no availability, we will issue a credit on your name. There will be no such credit or refunds if you change your reservation details like the number of nights you are going to stay or changes made with less than 30 days from your arrival.
There will be no refund or any credit on early departures.
There will be no refund or any credit because of weather conditions, hurricanes, tropical storms, including any inconvenient or complication that may come from the direct impact or hurricane alert in the area. Hurricanes are unpredictable events from nature.
ArenaBlue Tulum is not responsible for any extra charge, evacuation or any inconvenient that may appear because of a tropical storm or hurricane.
Any credit issued in your favor will be valid for one year starting on the cancellation date, and it cannot be used on the hotel´s services. Credits can be used by another person if you write down an authorization previously.
Remember that from December 19th to January 8th there will be no refunds from any deposit. There will be no refunds for all the Reservations with the no refundable rate.
All the refunds in case of cancellations, when provided, will be made within 30 workings days after the date of receipt of the cancellation.
Responsive Letter
ArenaBlue Tulum and its employees are not responsible for any damage psychological or physical as a result of or in connection with:

Any case of delay or cancellation. If a guest were to become ill during his or her vacation or has to interrupt his or her stay, any medical expend will be the guest´s responsibility.
An economic crisis, social unrest, political or labor problems, electricity failures because of the weather, maintenance or construction difficulties, claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or dissatisfaction of any kind or nature resulting from any action beyond the hotel´s reasonable range, including without
limitations, acts from nature (hurricanes, mud avalanches, earthquakes), flight changes or cancellations, strikes, threats or acts of terrorism, war, diseases or epidemics, unexpected conditions or local laws.
Lack of documentation such as visa, passport or health certificate in case you need one. ArenaBlue Tulum is not responsible for the requirements of traveling or to enter the country.
Loss of any item that is not inside of the security box of the hotel, or the loss of any item while the room is not locked.
